Murdoch back to winning ways
David Murdoch was full of energy after his British men’s curling rink returned to winning ways at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Skip Murdoch saw Britain defeat host nation Russia but lose to world champions Sweden on the opening day of the tournament.
But he bounced back with a 7-6 defeat of Germany in the final end and admitted the result had lifted spirits within the camp.
“We are pretty pumped up after winning that one and we need to have that attitude for the rest of the games,” he said.
